Gear Reducer

Gear Reducer

All APEX gear reducers are complied with API 11 specifications in both design and manufacturing. The shaft and gear are made of high-strength alloy steel, which are processed by rough machining, heat treatment, precision turning, ultrasonic nondestructive testing, and precision gear hobbing machine cutting tooth profile.

The perfect lubrication system ensures that all transmission parts and bearings run smoothly and reliably with sufficient oil lubrication. Equipped with an oil level device, the oil level in the reducer can be easily checked and adjusted.

APEX gear reducers are featured as:

  • Comply with API 11 specifications in both design and manufacturing
  • Reducer tank is horizontally divided into two halves for easy maintenance
  • Symmetrical distribution in transmission structure, for more stable transmission, and more uniform stress
  • All shafts and gears are made of high strength alloy steel, by a rigorous heat treatment process, we also carry out ultrasonic non-destructive testing, applying precision machine tools for tooth cutting, so as to ensure tight and perfect interdental space
  • The gear adopts the modification process, which improves the contact of the gear along the tooth direction and increases the life of the gear
  • The sheave is connected to reducer by bushing, for easy dismantlement and replacement
  • No mandatory lubrication system to be used, to ensure a full lubrication under all working conditions
  • The box adopts oil-saving design, which can save gear oil up to 40%
  • The high-speed shaft and low-speed shaft cap are designed with anti-dust ring, which can effectively avoid dust and pollutants from entering the reducer box
  • Visible oil sight glass is more convenient and easier to observe the oil level compared to traditional oil glass
  • The oil discharge valve is convenient and easy to operate, which can effectively prevent the oil from polluting the environment when discharging oil
  • Wedge-shaped washers are used to prevent loose of reducer tank installation surface. the radial serrations on the outer surface of wedge-in locking washers grips the surface of its contact parts. When the locking system encounters vibration or dynamic load, the displacement will only occur between the inner surfaces of the washers, providing more reliable locking
